Healthy vegan chocolate mousse

If you’re looking for a healthy dessert that’s both rich and light, this vegan chocolate mousse is the go-to. This vegan chocolate mousse will hit the spot, and it’s made with only 5 ingredients most of which you can find on our list of healthy baking essentials!

Vegan chocolate mousse

Just 5 ingredients for this vegan chocolate mousse

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 13.5oz Coconut cream
  • 1 cup Raw cacao
  • 5 oz Date syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp Sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Place 2 cans of coconut cream in the refrigerator overnight (at least 24 hours). This will allow the coconut cream and liquid to solidify. 
  2. Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl and blend with a blender until smooth. 
  3. Scoop mousse into serving dish(s), place back into the fridge for 1 hour.
  4. Serve chilled

***Note: Sometimes the coconut cream will not solidify and still have some liquid. You can use the cream and liquid for a thinner chocolate mousse OR simply use the cream only for a much denser dessert—both are delicious!
